Creating images for defined reasons, companies, institutions or products is not "art" it is "an art". Personal likes or dislike as a basis play a secondary roll.

Creative solutions and results have to achieve set defined aims or targets are missed and logically no matter how beautiful or clever the creative solutions may be the time, energy and money invested has been wasted.

We as designers or illustrators are their to help our clients hit targets with the aid of visual communication in all its forms.

If in the end the client sees the visual solution or solutions as piece of art and has at the same time hit the defined targets then both client and designer have achieved the best of both worlds but, this is secondary.
